This Mecalux Pallet Racking is the ideal choice for warehouses, factories, and distribution centres seeking a safe, scalable, and heavy-duty pallet storage system backed by over 60 years of manufacturing expertise
The weight loading of your Mecalux pallet racking depends on several factors, including the frame type, the height to the top of the first beam, and the size and type of each beam level. Because these details vary between installations, we provide a full weight loading table in the downloadable guide to help you choose the correct specification for your needs.
When planning your pallet racking layout, you’ll need to consider the frame size, beam length and the space required between rows, including the union space for back-to-back runs. Allow at least 100 mm clearance on each side for safe pallet drop-off, and ensure your aisle widths and forklift capacity are suitable for the pallets and equipment you’ll be using.
The right shelf option depends on what you’re storing and how you operate. You can choose from timber decking for solid coverage, wire decking for improved visibility and fire safety, pallet supports for added stability under pallets, or a simple beam-only setup when pallets are always stored directly on the beams.
Yes, you can purchase additional components to expand or adapt your Mecalux pallet racking as your storage needs change. Options include frames, beams, timber or wire decking, pallet supports, D-bar dividers and spigots, allowing you to customise your layout or add new bays with ease.
For safe installation and ongoing use, ensure your racking is fitted with frame protection and installed by SEMA-registered installers, our team of installers all our and we would be happy to undertake this for you.
