Expand your existing storage capacity with Longspan Additional Levels, designed to add extra shelf levels to compatible longspan shelving bays. Each kit includes two heavy-duty orange beams, locking pins and your choice of chipboard or galvanised tray decking. With a load capacity of up to 800kg UDL per level, these additional levels provide a practical solution for storing cartons, boxes, bulky goods and heavier warehouse stock.

Additional Storage for Longspan Shelving

Adding extra levels is a cost-effective way to make better use of your existing warehouse space without replacing your current shelving system. These additional levels are designed for use with Longspan racking and are compatible with Mecalux frames and accessories. The boltless design allows beams to be slotted directly into existing upright frames before being secured with safety locking pins and fitted with the chosen decking. Choose chipboard for general warehouse storage or galvanised trays where a more durable, corrosion-resistant and hygienic surface is required.

Load capacity

Each additional shelf level is rated to hold up to 800kg UDL (Uniformly Distributed Load) when installed correctly.
