The MK Sentry ARC fault detection device (AFDD) is combined with RCBO that provides additional protection against accidental fire in the home
Offers highest protection for users, combining over current electric shock and protection against fires that are caused by electrical arcing faults which can go undetected by an MCB or RCD
Suitable for new and retrofit installations in MK Sentry Y prefix consumer units
Number of poles: Single pole and neutral
Single module
RCD Type: A – ensures tripping for residual AC and pulsating DC currents. Suitable for electric vehicle charging points
Breaking capacity: 6kA
Rated current: 6A
Curve Type: B – trips between 3-5 times full load current. Mainly used in residential applications where loads are resistive, such as lighting fixtures and domestic appliances
