The client had limited space and needed to fit galvanised shelving in due to the type of products being stored.
The Challenge
The customer needed a solution that provided secure shelving, easy to adjust and durable in weather. This needed to be bolted to an already existing concrete floor, whilst wanting to maximise their storage space.
They had an initial layout which UK Shelving worked with them to refine, allowing a more suitable solution to be put in place whilst reducing the cost for the customer.
The Solution
UK Shelving provided the racking in line with the revised layout as well as installing the racking in a single day to avoid any disruption to day to day operations.
- Longspan Shelving with Galvanized trays were provided and installed by the UK Shelving team to provide the racking solution worked too
- Racking was put into 2 runs to maximise the space in the unit
- Frames were securely bolted into the concrete floor, using Shims to ensure that all racking was levelled on an already existing floor

The shelving was installed perfectly to our requirements into the space we have. We now have a larger operating space to manoeuvre in due to the floor plan designed by UK Shelving.
