The Challenge
Our client required a safe, durable, and space-efficient pallet racking solution to optimise storage capacity within their facility.
The system needed to accommodate a range of palletised goods while ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing easy accessibility for warehouse operations.
The Solution
UK Shelving provided a tailored solution that balanced safety, efficiency and speed of deployment.
Installation of 7 Pallet Racking bays reaching up to 4 metres in height and multiple bay widths to ensure that the space within the unit was maximised.
Decisions made whilst on-site to determine how best to set the levels of the beams to ensure that the client could maximise their storage.
Provided Timber decking with racking to ensure versatile storage options and maximise safety, alongside Column Protectors to minimise opportunity for damage from machinery in a busy space.
Levelling of flooring using Shims to ensure racking was levelled and subsequently securely anchored to ensure safety.
Load notices were provided to ensure staff are aware of maximum load capacities and maintain safe working practices.
